Why K-Pop Stans Skip Ballads? ๐ Me Too, LOL
Guys, this is seriously huge?? ๐ฑ I was browsing TheQoo at 3 AM (don’t we all? lol) and saw a post I completely related to, so I rushed right over.
Have you seen the post on TheQoo titled ‘A type that turns out to be really common among K-Pop stans…………..jpg’? It has over 50,000 views and the comments section is going wild. To summarize, it’s about the ‘K-Pop stans who don’t listen to ballads’ type, and as soon as I read it, I was like, ‘Oh, that’s me!’ LOL.
What I Found
This type refers to stans who absolutely do not listen to ballads. When their favorite idol’s album comes out, they listen to it first, but if a ballad track comes on, they immediately skip to the next song. Even if it’s a fan song that all fans love, if it’s a ballad, they skip it. They only love beats that give a strong dopamine rush.
Oh, but seriously… I’m like that too. LOL. At first, I thought, ‘Am I just tone-deaf?’ but looking at the comments, there are so many people like me! Because we stan for that explosive energy, that vibe that comes from K-Pop, right?
Korean Fans’ Reactions
“I saw this and thought it was me LOLOL” – Top Comment
“My mom listened to my playlist and said, ‘Why do you only listen to the same kind of songs?’” – Totally relatable ใ ใ
“If my bias’s album starts with a ballad, I almost cry… immediate skip” – Acknowledged legend
Why This Matters
K-Pop, in fact, places immense importance on performance and visuals, right? But ballads tend to focus more on vocals than performance, so without visual stimulation or dance breaks, they can feel a bit dull. We stans want that thrill!
Be honest, are you a ballad skipper too? LOL Or do you like all ballads? Let me know in the comments! ๐ We need to talk about this…
